Kiwi Calling is an online tool designed for those community groups that are monitoring kiwi fitted with transmitters. The tool helps you decode the data read from the kiwi transmitter and it uses that information to create a visual interface to interpret the results. An intuitive interface facilitates the data entry and key information is computed and mapped automatically. You can keep track of the incubation and transmitter changes via the in-built calendar, email updates to sponsors, and map the kiwi location. You can also share the latest kiwi status with your staff or supporters via a dedicated summary report available on the internet or via automated emails.
An intuitive, easy to use interface that is friendly to those preferring to be in the field rather than in front of a computer. Built-in validation rules, multiple choices, and pre-filled fields minimize mistakes and ensure consistency.
The dashboard offers visual overview of all managed kiwi and in-depth information for each kiwi. Incubation and transmitter change calendars show exactly what events are coming up and when.
The GPS waypoints uploaded into the app are automatically mapped giving a clear view of the location from where the signal can be picked up together with the bearing and gain.
The data can be entered and viewed by designated members of a community group using individual login credentials. The application is designed such that each group can see its own data only.
Each kiwi has its own report with incubation information, activity and measurements charts, and location maps. This report can be shared with supporters, sponsors, or handlers via a link or via an automated email.
Each team member can download any of the data entered by the team for more in-depth analysis. All data can be saved in a spreadsheet/pdf format for additional reporting.
Click on the Demo button on the main page above and use the demo account to look at our fictional sample project. Get familiar with the dashboard, the tables, the charts, and the automatically generated maps.
Read the documentation provided and decide on whether you are going to manage the kiwi on your own or if you would need some support. Choose one of our plans and head to the Order section.
Our team will setup your group, add the users required, and you are good to go! With the knowledge gained from the demo and from the online documentation you can start entering your data. Keep track of your kiwi with our easy to read dashboard.
Share your results with the wider community. Your project will have individual kiwi reports that can be shared on the Internet or via automated emails.
